Venice Beach

 

Venice Beach is owned by the City of Venice and operated by Sarasota County.  This beach is known for its sharks teeth and other fossilized material, and a coral reef located approximately one-quarter mile offshore makes it a favorite spot for local divers.

  • 7.5 acres of land    
  • 875 linear feet of gulf beach frontage    
  • Lifeguards are on duty year-round    
  • The City of Venice enhanced Venice Beach by coordinating a sand re-nourishment program
